Questions families ask.
How much does tutoring cost?
Contact us for pricing details.
How do payment and cancellations work?
Pay by Zelle or card. Session blocks are paid up front. Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead; illness and special circumstances are the exception.
Do you teach online or in person?
Both. Art is based in University City and meets students in person around San Diego. Online, he works with students anywhere in the US.
Do you work with college students?
Yes: chemistry, biochemistry, calculus, and statistics, including online courses through other universities. Students from UC San Diego, San Diego State, Mesa College, Tulane, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo have worked with Art.
Should my student take the SAT or the ACT?
Both are accepted everywhere, so it comes down to fit. A timed practice run of each usually shows where your student naturally scores higher. Then you commit to one.
Can my student get ahead before a hard class starts?
Yes. Many families use summer and winter break to get a head start on next semester’s toughest class, such as AP Chemistry, Calculus, or Biology.
